This configuration
provides 10 Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN and SONET/SDH BERT, which
provides PRBS into
STS-192c/VC-4-64c,
as standard test functionality. Traffic
generation of up to 128
streams is now provided on 10
Gigabit Ethernet LAN/WAN. A feature provides 64B/66B PCS Block Play from buffer and edit
for detailed PCS test case execution. This is in
addition to
the existing 64B/66B PCS and MAC capture feature.
The 10Gbps
configuration also offers licensed options for 10
Gigabit Fibre
Channel (10G FC), and GFP. The GFP license offers GFP-F
mapped directly into OTU2 and GFP-F into STS-192c/VC-4-64c. In
addition, a hardware option provides Digital Wrapper and
Forward
Error Correction (FEC) support at the following rates: G.709
OTU2
(10.709 Gbps), 11.049 Gbps FEC, and 11.095 Gbps FEC. An
additional
hardware option is available for XFP optics; the
default configuration uses fixed optics. New options
include ODU2 line rate support 10.037G) and 11.270 Gbps FEC
for 10G Fibre
Channel clients.
