Innocor
offers flexible and cost effective telecom and datacom test solutions
for manufacturing and R&D environments. We are looking for
talented engineers to contribute to Innocor's success. As a
member of a small software team you will work closely with marketing,
FPGA and board designers to bring to market new and enhanced broadband
test products.
Assignments and responsibilities will depend on the candidates
experience level. The ideal candidate is a skilled end-to-end
software designer capable of problem analysis, specification writing,
design and test.

| Requirements:
|
Computer,
Electrical or Software Engineering degree
3 years software development experience
1 years in embedded or dedicated systems development
Excellent writing and problem solving skills
Experienced with software evolution and maintenance
Comfortable with structured and agile processes
Object and component oriented design
Skilled with C and/or Java

| Assets:
|
Communication protocols and standards: SONET/SDH, Ethernet, GFP
Experience with real-time systems and low-level software and hardware interaction
User interface design

| Job Description: |
Innocor is a
medium sized
company with a lot of potential that has been steadily growing since
its inception. We have an established product with a strong customer
base but there is still a lot of room for growth in our market.
As a senior designer you will gain experience working on many chip
designs through their full life cycle gaining the experience of working
and leading RTL coding/design/architecture, simulation
design/execution, lab debugging and FPGA design support.
Innocor designs test platforms so we often are required to work on
standards/protocols that are not yet adopted in the industry. This
provides our designers the opportunity to work with the latest
technology on new exciting design.
Responsibilities will Include:
Leading small dynamic teams
The design and architecture of small to medium size modules
Priming large chip designs
Leading peer reviews
Managing place and route constraints
Module documentation
Interfacing with software and hardware groups within the company
RTL coding, simulation, and lab debugging

BScEE or
equivalent
degree
5 years FPGA or ASIC design experience
Strong written/oral communication skills
Previous experience leading small teams.
Chip prime experience on large
FPGA devices (>1,000,000 gates)
Chip and/or module architecture and design
